I had such a great time at the opening of the church’s international show. Admittedly I was a bit overwhelmed by it all. My painting is in the central gallery, and I’m surrounded by great works from artists I’ve grown up studying and now I’m among. It was surreal to share gallery space with Brian Kershisnik, J. Kirk Richards, Del Parsons, Rose Datoc Dall and so many other LDS masters. It really was a dream come true. I hope this is the beginning of many more opportunities to show my work in such an arena.
